No, I really appreciate the feedback and that was my next question, if I'd be better off just replacing the FDU anyway. I'll probably go that route. I'll stick with 4.88 or 5.13 and the bigger price tag.
That said, you think it should be cheaper to regar the rear vs a whole new axle assembly?
Thanks. Would this kit below work? I can't imagine labor would put it above replacing the FDU and a gear axle assembly. New, those are $3k each.

Ford does make...
I did find this as well.

A new rear axle assembly and FDU are about $3K each just for the parts.
Why can't you? Woudl something like this not work?

Also, why is it cheaper/cost effective for a new rear axle assembly?
I have a 22 Black Diamond non sas, manual transmission. 4.46 gearing
About a year ago I got a quote from a shop (not too familiar with broncos) on upgrading my FDU, regearing, steering rack etc. This all as I intend to go to 37s.
Decided for cost and my needs, I didn't need to do all of...
I managed to damage this part of my back glass (pictured). It's both the rubber seal and the hard plastic trim. Mostly, it's a non issue. If it rains hard enough, I've had some water get inside. I imagine replacing the rubber seal will fix that. Also pictured is the part for that.
Does anyone...
Ah. Yes, I'm already putting in 93. I'll almost certainly still do it for the rev matching and a couple other reasons. Not looking to turn it into something it's not but was still just hoping for more than what I can get turning the dial.
Gotta be honest, that's a little disappointing. I know rev matching etc make it worth it regardless but I was hoping for a little from the tune than just essentially sport mode.
Thanks. I definitely could just wheel and see what is needed and save money. You just read a lot online (I know, I know) about that being a weak point with 37s and figured I could get in front of any potential issues, especially if other work is being done, like the m210. Or if I'm tuning...
Honestly, I'm just getting into this so it would be mild but I am also looking to quickly learn and push the limits as I connect with others, more experienced.
I did consider possibly trading for a BL. But I thought if I "needed" to upgrade to 5:13 gearing anyway, then it wouldn't make much...
