There wouldn't really be anything to see in the pictures. The Helix was installed behind the panel that is in the space behind my rear seat, but before the factory sub enclosure. Looks completely stock, you'd have no idea anything additional was behind it. I've got a 2-door, so I'm not sure how...
Does the winch pack have to be relocated on the winch skid? I’ve got a Zeon 10S. How do you hook up the cable when winching is needed? Thinking the Warn wireless Bluetooth module might make sense too.
If you use the winch skid plate on the factory modular bumper with a 2.7 engine, does the ACC have to be relocated? I’m asking because the consensus was that it needed to be relocated to be used with the Ford Performance winch plate, but I found out that was not true and the ACC still works...
Try the method in this thread as well. I did both, and notice a significant improvement.
MIC hard top wind noise reduction …best results so far - using rubber gasket strips | Bronco6G - 2021+ Ford Bronco & Bronco Raptor Forum, News, Blog & Owners Community
Last year there were two Toyota Tundra trucks in front of us as we started to head down the steps. BOTH of them broke their back window which was really surprising to me. Maybe the twisting?
I've been doing the same thing!
I'm sure it will be fine, but spotting will be even more important with the independent front suspension.
Now, what I'd really like to see is a Bronco on Holy Cross near Vail.
I'm heading out the first week of August and have been foaming at the mouth. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the Bronco does vs. my Jeep which I've had out there several times.
I would really love to see video of a Bronco climbing the wall at Poughkeepsie Gulch if any of you have one!
There is another thread on reducing wind noise here https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/attention-mic-hard-top-owners-wind-noise-reduction-hack.46473/.
I did the hack at that link and it made a significant difference in mine. I'll try this one as well and attack it from both.
Wow, thanks for this hack. I've got a 2-door and my biggest complaint has been the wind noise at highway speeds and this does make a huge difference. Beat the hell out of my other complaint which was the poor sound of the B&O system which cost me over $3500 to fix.
Please share your camera relocation steps. Feel free to PM me vs hijacking this thread but I’m extremely interested in how to do this. I’ve also got the factory winch kit.
This photo isn't of mine, but it's another FE with the factory winch. I'm traveling and won't be home until Thursday and can post more if you want to see some. My ACC works the same as before I added the winch.
