sounds like you may be trying install aftermarket LED lights? Those are usually the ones with the red wire, it has to be connected inside the tailgate to the 3rd brake light. The OEM lights have no red wire, just the one plug.

Is there a separate "Rear LED Turn Outage" option for left and right? I just see the one on the list there. I haven't gone into Forscan myself yet so just trying to be as prepared as possible. The OEM LEDs I ordered are still in transit.
