Just for reference, my small local dealer has a New 25 Sas Badlands, painted hardtop, 2.7, mid-package, MSRP $65 listed for $56 after discounts. Hoss 3.0 is just a $2200 shocks package (shocks with 19K miles on them).
I don't value Lux package like some, so I'd take the new one in a heart beat...
Sas in Hoss 2.0....... The price of the Black Diamond package according to the current price and build is $4495 (which to me is an awful value), the cost of the Sasquatch package (Hoss 2.0), is an extra $1680 over the BD package.
IMO, paying an extra $1680 for 210 IFS axle, front locker...
It used to be $2665 over the BB, and you could add the locker to the BB for $800.
Hoss 2.0 only costs $1680 over the BD (which you say is a worse value than the BD), and then you say HOSS 2.0 is a value at $3k. If it's a value at $3K why would it be terrible value at $1680?
This is what I don't get with all the BD advise (not the old BD trim), you are paying 2/3 of price of the Sas package, and not getting half the package. The rear locker was a no-brainer when it was a $800, not so much when it's now $4500.
There's nothing wrong with the glorified golf cart, but I think the 2 door should come from the factory with turf tires and a bag rack, for tooling around the Villages.
