Interesting. When my screen blacked out the horse would show during reset but stay black other tgan when backing up. The screen worked fine when put in reverse.

I tried this when mine was doung the same thing. Unfortunately it did not reset the software. I fo believe it could have something to do with OTA software updates as the tech mentioned that the software got stuck and needed to be reset.

Update on the black screen, sorry I did not post sooner. I took to the dealer to diagnose and they did an internal software reset or something like that with there Standard 1 hour diagnosis charge and that cured the problem for now. If anything changes I will post an update.
