people should keep in mind that if youāre looking for this on eBay or a similar online site, that parts reseller may only list it by the number stamped on the back. Which is not going to be the ford parts number above (thank you Ducati), but will probably be what I understand is the engineering...
yes, looking at InfinateDomainās pictures above for his 2 door, and pictures of my 4 door at the beginning of this thread, the insert parts look identical. Plus they have the same part (engineering?) number stamped on the back. So far, after looking at many many videos and pictures of...
please send a picture of the parts when you get them, as there still seems to be a little bit of confusion about the part numbers. Hopefully the dealer confirmed exactly what it was when you ordered it.
right!? thatās why I used the word secret-ish in the thread title. Itās a conspiracy by ford to keep this part from us to increase the desirability of newer broncos.
Did some highway driving today and I can confirm at least subjectively it has a noticeable effect on reducing interior noise from the back. That however, does make me realize how noisy the front of the bronco roof is. š¤
interesting. Ducati, this parts diagram does not show the part in question. It is a trim insert that would fit inside the trim piece having number 20554B in the diagram. InfiniteDomain posted a picture above of his two door and it shows the insert.
Well, yes, of course I know that. The answer there is just to go to a dealer with any vin off the lot and they can get you the part number. Or if someone has expertise like Ducati they can share the part number. I was able to do it quickly and easily and cheaply without 100% certainty on...
I only care about the parts number up to a point. Iāve spent hours on this little project and can confirm, since I have now bought the trim inserts and installed them, that the trim insert pieces in my original picture fit the hardtops correctly. I recognize the confusion with the part numbers...
Perfect thanks. That is the exact same part, showing the exact same part number, as in my original post. iām guessing that bronco was manufactured/delivered towards the end of 2024.
Iām sorry, I missed the BA/CA distinction. I wanted to advise about the issue, but clearly I am no parts Number guru. That said, I just did a quick Google search with the CA suffix part number and it doesnāt seem to be coming up.
I donāt believe this is correct. From my research, M2DZ-78255A34-CA Is a different part. Iām no expert on Ford part numbers but just do a Google search of that part number and it looks like a different part. See the attached picture.
