Congrats on your trip that sounds awesome! So far the experience has been really good - with one caveat.
I ordered the roof rack and side panels and the website said they were all in stock. Come to find out the website inventory tracking isn’t accurate.
I live in Colorado so shipping didn’t...
Fair enough...that's kind of what I was thinking. I'll look for 95L boxes.
Are there any brands other than ROAM you'd recommend looking at? Or are those what I should be focusing on?
This is great! I'm looking at ROAM cases right now. What size(s) did you get? There's a guy locally selling a 105L for $250 and aside from the decal peeling looks like it's in pretty good shape but I'm not sure if that's too big.
Those look awesome! And price doesn't really concern me...I'm more interested in quality and utility. I'm going to order some tie downs from RCI and get those straps. Thanks for the suggestion!
Edit to add: I'm still at 50% off roof rack accessories at RCI (you get that right now if you order...
ha fair enough! The rhino ones I was looking at are 15'. I might try to find a get set of 8' ones since I don't need that much extra strap floating in the breeze
Thank you that's *incredibly* helpful! And what you do is exactly what I have in mind - I have a flexbow kodiak canvas tent that's incredibly bulky and I'd prefer to stick that on the roof. So yes if you'd be willing to send a pic of how you strap it in I'd appreciate it!
I'll have to see...
Hey everyone - I just bought a RCI Offroad roof rack as well as the side accessory panels. I was going to go for Trailrax but RCI has a huge sale right now so the deal was too good to pass up.
I primarily use my Bronco as an overlander although I take it offroad (just not hardcore - I live in...
Hey everyone just wanted to put this out to your collective wisdom:
I know (in general) running the Bronco through a car wash isn’t ideal. I’m in Colorado and spending a lot of time now up in the mountains…so the bronco is getting pretty dirty.
What car wash kits/soaps/etc are you all using?
Like the title says - very curious what everyone is going with. I know IAG seems to be the popular choice but curious if there are any others I should look at?
I’m in colorado and going to be taking it up into the mountains quite a bit so I’m also looking for steps that won’t hang down/jut out...
While I love living in Colorado one of the things I hate is the mandatory front license plate (I’m kind of a stickler for rules…so if the rules say it’s gotta be there then it’s going on).
Managed to get the dealer to not drill my mod bumper and install the stock plate option…but now I need to...
