From Copilot AI:
2025 Ford Bronco Raptor Slip Bump on two piece driveshaft. It happens consistently when coming to a gentle stop (normal street driving with traffic or stop signs) and again when I release the brake -- the truck gives a noticeable bump, stump or jolt. It almost feels like the...
@Nc211
I purchased the truck in November in North Carolina and didn’t notice any issues at first. Around March, I started feeling something, and since then it has become more noticeable - especially when the outside temperature is above 65°F. When it reaches 80°F or higher, the issue is very...
I am experiencing the same thumping issue with my 2025 Bronco Raptor. After two days at the dealership, it was confirmed that this “feature” is by design. I just received the following response from Ford Crossroads Apex:
I am experiencing the same issue with my 2025 Bronco Raptor with roughly 3K on it... When I come to a complete stop and again when I release the brake -- the truck gives a noticeable bump, stump or jolt. It feels almost as if a bowling ball in the back seat rolls forward just as the vehicle...

I reached out to @Ford Motor Company through the chat on Ford.com, and of course they said this was the first they’d heard of it and suggested taking the truck to a dealer for a full diagnostic... That’s exactly what I expected and something I already knew before coming to this forum a few hours...
So, Ford will just keep replacing rear driveshafts under warranty?? But if the same component is swapped out multiple times and the issue still comes back, it raises the question of whether this situation could fall under Lemon Law. I have tagged @Ford Motor Company here as well, hopefully they...
My 2025 BRaptor only has 3,000 (three K) miles on it, and I started noticing this bump roughly 500 miles ago. If the issue comes back even after replacing the rear driveshaft, then that isn’t a real fix... Its more like what others have described, where greasing the slip yoke only masks the...
I’ve read through the threads about the rear driveshaft, but some owners say the issue eventually comes back even after the driveshaft is replaced. Others mention lubricating the slip yoke as a temporary fix. Has anyone here actually had this problem resolved permanently?
