I flipped my bronco on a trail back in August. Busted my roof up. Ford wanted to charge the insurance company 10k for a replacement... yes 10k... so now I am the proud owner/waiter of an Armadillo designs all aluminum top, fully loaded with about $1500 to spare! Thank you Ford adjusters!
If you go to 37" tires be ready to do A LOT of modifications downstairs. axels, tie rods steering rack etc. you could get away with it if you're only planning on driving on the pavement but any off road adventures you'll more than likely bust something if you don't start adjusting other parts....
Yeah, the ones on all broncos are about half way up the fender wells. You can buy some extenders from ARB and re route the hose to the engine compartment, like anywhere in there. I have mine on the side wall near the airbox.
@Mkass A year later I'm sure you have already gone, but... strongly recommend finding someone else if not a group to go with you. Hidden falls is a blast! If you haven't gone but want to go, let me know I'll def go. I have a 2" spacer lift and 34" Mickey Baja AT's I was able to do prettttty much...
It was a good bit of fun. ended up riding with a newbies group from Baldies adventure... however they stuck to mainly the service roads. I did go out with my guides afterwards and hit some 3-4 diamond trails. I'm on 35's and no front locker and didnt have too hard of time on anything.
I added a westin front bumper to mine. With bull bars. Love it. Also adding metal cloak rock rails in the coming weeks and have their rear shock and control arm skids.
I just got the rear shock and rear control arm skids. waiting on delivery. I want to buy more but just a little concerned on the weight. I have the 2.3L and already have a steel front bumper with winch and bull bars. I want the rocksliders and upper/lower control arms and stabilizer bar, but...
Check the screw on the bottom thats where mine was leaking air. Theres another form mentioned up in the comments where the guy had to retighten his throttle body screws. Im assuming you have a cold air intake. Ford wont touch it huh?
