  1. Positive battery posts too small, can't easily fit clamps on

Yeah, def don't want to clamp directly to the negative here or pretty much on any modern car/truck. You can really screw up some expensive electronics if you aren't careful or just damned unlucky. As far as the ability to clamp . . . I first ran into this with my '05 Acura RL. My portable...
  2. Best tuning kit for 2023 Bronco Badlands 5 speed?

In fairness . . . it's pretty rare I use 6th gear (hell, I rarely use 5th) so as long as we ignore that granny gear it IS "sorta" a 5 speed. Add me to the confused crowd as well, though.
  3. Redline Hood lift Max

Rookies! Airbag suspension FTW, make that hood come to YOU!
  4. Introducing Ford AI Assistant in the Ford App 📱

"Ford Assistant, do you know Bronco Trail App? I haven't seen him in a while." We don't talk about him.
  5. Thinking person's wrench set.

AI Socket Sets . . . make it the machine's problem to find that damn 10mm socket!
  6. Manual transmission drivers - does shifting linkage get smoother with use?

Same here with a '23 2-door in almost exclusively City driving.
  7. MAXIMUS-3 FORD BRONCO REMOVABLE WINCH SADDLE

That's an awful lot of winching questions to pack into a thread ostensibly about the Maximus-3 removable winch mounting system. Short answers: Zeons are made in US, EVO's offshore. Big winch market, lots of options, even more opinions; if you want to know more then GIYF, if you want short story...
  8. 1st 5 tire rotation

How dare you consult the owners manual to access documentation on procedures for vehicles that owners own? As a cow-orker of mine responded a loooong time ago when asked why he didn't just read the directions . . . "It inhibits my creativity". 🤣
  9. Engine block heater recall (2021-2024 Bronco)

Yes, I *just* found this when I went into Fordpass to make a note of the 3 recalls I planned to call and schedule to be addressed now that they're finally ready. Imagine my surprise to find that new one with an expected solution in Q1 '26 . . . which would be fine except for the "may cause...
  10. Moving my Forscan from on computer to another one.

There is an uninstall license option in Forscan. I've never used it but seems like it's there for that purpose - but I've learned not to bet on the logical. For copying your data over - like all those as-built .abt backups and such - by default they are all in a folder named "Forscan" which is...
  11. 2 door soft top “non-slant back” options?

I'm not as strongly opposed to the slant back as you appear to be but I add my vote once again to the desire for a fully folding (a la Wrangler) 2 door soft top. While my preference is also for a traditional square back if a fully folding top was made available and *only* in a slant version I'd...
  12. Recall 25S01 - Rear Shock Absorber External Reservoir Corrosion *🚨Repair now available*

It's like any home plumbing repair - it's always TWO trips to the store, without fail.
  13. ATTN: Ford's Annual Price Increase on ESPs (Extended Service Plans) Coming Soon - Lock in your Granger Warranty before Oct 1st!

It's a Ford warranty. It will be *accepted* at any Ford dealer/service center so if you have a Ford ESP you can get service anywhere. The restriction is that some states have laws that prevent out of state sales of the warranties themselves, not the actual use of the coverage.
  14. HOSS 3.0 Suspension Kits - Now available from Ford Performance!

Thanks for taking the time to follow through with this and share the info.
  15. For those with the manual transmission...

From comments here and elsewhere, and my own experience ('23 BL 2Dr), I think almost ALL of them get a very liberal application of grease on the spring assembly. Once you've blindly stuck your hand up there once you'll not do it again without making sure you see exactly where you're going...
