Got my 17" wheels and my pretty much brand new wrangler duratracs swapped over today from my old truck (no way was I letting the dealership keep those). They filled up the tank and gave me a blackout kit for the chrome badges.
Those Army green TRD Pros are even more of a unicorn than the truck I just bought.
The 4runner is going to get an update soon, probably within 2 years. If you guys love the truck, buy it, but there's going to be some cool new stuff showing up if you want to wait a bit.
I got 30k trade-in on my 2016 TRD sport, and this new truck (fully optioned mind you) was $47k out the door.
For my money, here's what I got (just for comparison perspective).

Haha. I honestly didn't even know there was a new blazer until I saw it mentioned here a couple months ago!
Never been a GM or Chevy guy. Was always Ford or (old) Jeep. The new Jeeps have all been cross-eyed since Fiat, and I started buying Toyotas. It's really, really hard to beat the...

Yep. Still stone age technology rear brakes lol. I will say that they're very pretty when they're brand new though!
It was a tough call. This was my "wishlist" pickup, and I didn't think I'd ever find one out in the wild. In fact, this is the only one spec'd exactly like I wanted that I've seen in over a year of casual looking about. When fate smiles upon you, sometimes you just gotta act.
I had an alert setup for a 2020 Tacoma TRD Offroad longbed in quicksand color. Basically a unicorn as far as Tacomas are concerned. Well guess what showed up at my local dealer. With the premium interior package. Yep. So I got me a new pickup. Service was closed today, but she'll go back...
The front D30 is stout enough. You can run chromolly shafts and beat on 35" tires without too much issue. The rear D35 was the crap axle. 8.8 is a good swap for that.
Here's a '95 two door I had on 33's (bumper was getting fabbed, so of course a perfect time to get stuck in the mud with no...
