This is exactly what I do when a Raptor comes to me on the line and the hood is up, I close it so it isn't open before it gets transferred to the next line but because the frame is nearly waist high the front of the hood is probably about 8' from the ground and I am jumping for no one lol.
Whoa, lots of hate there for lots of people you don't know. I'm not fat, certainly not greedy, and I can say with pretty healthy confidence every time I've ever met someone with that kind of personal judgment on offer they've never been the strongest worker themselves. Pardon me if I don't...
Tail Light Housing
Half Shafts
ECM programming
Hood Struts
Radiator+Fan (Radiator might have changed to a common model as they are no longer being finished painted black but the fan is definitely a D part code)
Wiring harnesses
Transfer Case
I think the drive shaft is different but I'm not 100%...
It's not a rule violation, if Ford wants to hide it, it would be at R&E or Pilot where an NDA is required. They can request a site can pull the posts but it would be at the site owners discretion to comply.
The rule is no pictures, no one has told me I can't describe something I've personally observed. Process coaches have had ample opportunity to present documents to sign for this if they expect to change it.
I work at MAP I have personally seen the bodies leave paint, the color is similar to Tang but I can't confirm what specific orange it is because it isn't on the build sheet (neither is Avalanche though) but I can confirm that some have been made.
I'd say it's maybe a little of that and a little of being extremely reflexive changing suppliers with all of the tariffs. There was an aluminum plant fire recently and Ford had a replacement supplier almost immediately and dedicated a handful of employees to containment to monitor quality...
I work at MAP and this actually perplexes me because I don't think any one of our drivers ever have to drive that far, my reasoning being that rough road would back up really bad if they were missing drivers for over an hour. I'm not surprised at QLS having the truck pulled for a period of time...
If it is coming I don't think that it's coming from MAP that is however only my educated theory based on the fact that there have been no build sheets so far that suggest an electric drivetrain, this doesn't exclude the possibility entirely especially if the frames are sent to another facility...
No, it's not remotely like that, it's a very light grey, in certain lighting it would look almost white but it came off behind some MY25 Oxford White bodies and there's a very clear difference.
I can provide 2 updates that I've seen physically so far (as of 9/24/25) for MY26 there "are" at least two new colors one being called A..valanche on the sheet code and it's a grey with a very slight blue tint and the other doesn't have a name code on the sheets and can only be described as...
