@Mena541 I didn’t add the kicker key like the video below which is why I chose the Cerwin Vegas. This would probably be seen as the next level beyond what I’ve done. I’m happy with the sound in mine. Swapping out the factory 6.5 speakers in the kick panels are the only thing I’d consider...

@Mena541 I did it myself. Not difficult. I was partial to the Cerwin Vegas from previous experience but the amp and subwoofer I learned about I learned about in the forum. Swapping the 4” speakers is very easy. Adding the subwoofer requires some FORScan modifications but otherwise is plug and play

I put in cerwin vega 4” speakers front/rear and added the fusion amp with the kicker 6.75 subwoofer in the factory enclosure which I sealed as per the kicker specs

I used expanding foam and tried to get it as deep in the “horn” as possible. I realize it’s not an ideal choice and anything more than a 6.5 it might not be structurally strong enough, especially when attempting to bond to smooth ABS but it seemed sufficient. I guess time will tell.

I later ended up doing this as well and posted my findings which were very similar to what you found. The enclosure is safely in the range of kicker’s specifications for sealed enclosures. I’m very happy with my new sound and added depth without sounding sloppy. Im curious to hear your findings...

I didn’t attempt to run it ported so I can’t compare. I’ll just say that kicker doesn’t recommend it be used in a ported enclosure.

Yes it’s a porter enclosure, approximately 9 liters in volume. I sealed mine as stated in an early post of this thread and am very happy with the 4ohm in a sealed box. The kicker 6.75 is not recommended to be used ina ported setup and the 9 liters within the recommended volume per kicker specs...
