not totally sure to be honest. Does the bronco have ambient lights in the door? I know in my fusion when the car is running and I open the door only the door lights change to red, the rest of the interior lights stay whatever color I have set in the sync settings.
Thats cool that ford gave the color option. Did they add rear under seat lights? or is it still just the front foot wells? All fords that have color changing lights still keep light blue in all the switches etc they do not and have never changed. As for the part numbers, theres many...
The OP of this thread sent me his cup holder, I compared it to the 25 different cup holders I have, nothing matched better than what is currently being used.
I was just getting ready to say the ML3Z is blue only. you need the FL3Z for color change, they are all keyed the same not sure why ford has different part numbers for them. Ill reply to your PM now
Thats pretty cool! on the F150 the LIN isnt there and the power isnt either(some 21/22 trucks got lucky and ford had the front connectors there but they are far and few between and still require a jumper wire), the trucks must also be push button start as the key start BCM cannot support ambient...
Unless the bronco is entirely different than the F150, if you DO NOT have ambient lighting in the sync menu, you have to turn this on via APIM and BCM changes, along with adding wires to the BCM. The blue lights you might have now are not ambient lights(if you dont have the menu), they are just...
If you dont have the ambient lighting from the factory(menu in sync), adding it is a little more involved. Ive solved it on the F150 but never looked into adding it on the bronco.
My 2017 Fusion has factory color change. When I turn the vehicle off the lights revert back to OEM blue. When I open the car door to start it they are blue. As soon as the car is powered up they go to whatever color I have set in the APIM. I believe this is how ford designed them.
