Oh, that one is sweet. FJ40 was my first "car". I did keep it a looooong time, and eventually swapped a 350 into it. Such fun times in that thing.

Came here to say the same... sold my '06 Elise a little while back. Most people will never know just how much fun it is to drive one of these at the limits. I have driven a lot of faster cars, but none were as fun as a Lotus.

Yes, for sure. I own a shop where we do that kind of thing (ppf, tint, ceramic coating, etc.) There are good products now that are made for plastics that are a good option for the top. Gives it some UV protection and makes it hydrophobic. No downside.

For lubricating any threads that do not need some kind of thread locker, this is what you want to use: https://www.permatex.com/products/lubricants/anti-seize-lubricants/permatex-anti-seize-lubricant-8-oz/ Works great for lug nuts/bolts, brake caliper bolts, exhaust bolts, etc.

Looks ultra light weight. Should be good off road of not underpowered. :)
