No. I did end up getting an HE which the fenders are a little bit better for this. That’s not why I got the HE though. Just fell in love with the HE. It’s not a safety thing though imo. Just a thing where you need to be aware that you can hurt the door.

Just throwing this in here. Quick remove brackets for the BHBTFD license plate holder. Wanted to be able to take off the plate quick and easy without tools. (Car wash ripped my bracket partly off) If anyone is interested, I will look into getting the file up for printing. Green was a prototype...

I went in for something else and asked... If I recall correctly... now Q3. I am not going to be a happy camper if it gets pushed again. I had my first bronco and waited for them to fix an issue. I bet it is still waiting to be addressed.

What one is it? Just curious. I ended up getting something that works for me. Still uses the BHBTFD license plate holder. I just changed out the mounting clips for my own made brackets. Easy on and off.

If I was lucky enough to have an indoor place to wash the car (frame) in winter, I wouldn’t use one. That’s not an option for me. So I do what I can.

So I was wondering if others ran into issues (or did not) with after market front license plate mounting brackets. (Capable bumper). I have tried the following : Some mount that I got off amazon. I like the look of this one and it is better than expected. Also the BHBTFD Capable Bumper...

Yup. That (25V788) was the one that I was questioning. Thanks again for the info. Annoying waiting this long for a known issue. That being said, I haven’t seen this happen in car recently. More than likely because of the tilt of the earth and XM sat.

Thanks for the info... good to know. @rugedraw Do you know if the future updates indicate what they address? I know that Ford issued a Recall that is to be fixed over the air for the instrument cluster going blank, so I am wondering if this might be the reason and other fixes might come with it.

Do I have to assume this doesn’t address known issues, like the one in this thread? Release notes available for this? ECG2-25.2.8.5. Maybe it is addressed in this update? ...

I would totally love this. If this can replace the third brake light and double as a rear flood... chef's kiss. I have been think about the Stage Series Reverse Light, but don't quite like having it as part of the spare.
