No. I did end up getting an HE which the fenders are a little bit better for this. That’s not why I got the HE though. Just fell in love with the HE. It’s not a safety thing though imo. Just a thing where you need to be aware that you can hurt the door.

Just throwing this in here. Quick remove brackets for the BHBTFD license plate holder. Wanted to be able to take off the plate quick and easy without tools. (Car wash ripped my bracket partly off) If anyone is interested, I will look into getting the file up for printing. Green was a prototype...

What one is it? Just curious. I ended up getting something that works for me. Still uses the BHBTFD license plate holder. I just changed out the mounting clips for my own made brackets. Easy on and off.

If I was lucky enough to have an indoor place to wash the car (frame) in winter, I wouldn’t use one. That’s not an option for me. So I do what I can.

Yup. That (25V788) was the one that I was questioning. Thanks again for the info. Annoying waiting this long for a known issue. That being said, I haven’t seen this happen in car recently. More than likely because of the tilt of the earth and XM sat.

Thanks for the info... good to know. @rugedraw Do you know if the future updates indicate what they address? I know that Ford issued a Recall that is to be fixed over the air for the instrument cluster going blank, so I am wondering if this might be the reason and other fixes might come with it.

Do I have to assume this doesn’t address known issues, like the one in this thread? Release notes available for this? ECG2-25.2.8.5. Maybe it is addressed in this update? ...
