I think all Bronco's come with that basic alarm. It protects against someone jimmying the lock, breaking a window, then unlocking the door from inside, etc. I think this is probably what triggers the alarm when you open the door with the key (but not using the fob). So the "additional alarm...
It's not just the battery in the car. The battery in the key fob itself can go dead. In my case, it was acting "OK", then just stopped working entirely. Naturally, we were in a very public place locked outside of the car.
The key in the key fob got me in just fine, and putting the key fob...
I have a 2021. Built at the tail end of 2021 with the "redesigned" version 2 of the MIC top. I (used to) check it pretty regularly for cracks and issues, but to be honest - I've somewhat fallen off doing that lately. (This is a good reminder to go do it again). So far - no issues at all.
I...
Seems like there should be an easier way. For those of us that routinely travel from the MPH world of the USA to the KPH world of Canada. (An old style speedometer with both MPH and KPH would be better than the “advanced” digital display).
I was scared witless - first year of the model, built right before the Christmas shutdown, then it sat for 4 months in a field waiting for chips.
After all the MIC top issues and delays, I thought it’d be in and out of the shop (or at least have leaks everywhere, but so far it’s been great...
Heh heh - "...past2 months". Try since they started building the Broncos. Ford's been sowing chaos since the very beginning. I thought that once the COVID/MIC top/Supply chain/Chip fiascos were resolved, they'd get back into a predictable rhythm, but NOPE! Sounds like its SOP now.
This is my biggest fear. After hitting the ”luck” jackpot and getting my 2021 Bronco (even with all its constraints), I don’t think I could jump back into the waiting pool to do it all over again. It took a year and a half the first time, but without some sort of guarantee as to when you’d get...
So I’ve had my (Mid pacakage) Bronco about 2 months now and put about 1500 miles on it (highway and in town). I’ve noticed all of the driver assist features working: lane keeping, attention, etc — except for the AEB. I’ve never had it trigger, and as my wife tells me, I’m a ”close driver”.
Ive...
I think a lot of it has to do with the wheel width - +20 offset yielding different looks for s 9” wheel vs a 8.5” wheel. (I didn’t go and research the ones you’d called out up above).
For my OBX, I thought a little poke would be OK, so went with a Fuel 18” x 9” wide wheel with +20 offset. That...
Fuel Tactic 18x9”, +20 offset. Falken Wildpeaks 285/65R18.
A bit more poke than I expected - probably 2”. A +35 offset would’ve probably been perfect. If it gets to me, I’ll upgrade to the SAS fenders.
Well, seems like I beat @PeneBear by just a little bit! My windshield got replaced, so I went over last night, filled out the paperwork, and brought it home! I’ll have to go back Tuesday to have the new wheels/tires put on, but at least the Bronco is finally in my garage and not a dirt field...
