FWIW, back on the insurance topic, we've had many hail claims and a few accident fixes (flying debris & other drivers). Rates have never gone up...USAA does a great job for us. Another reason to have good coverage/agency. Hope all works out as you navigate the claim process.
As soon as I see Morimoto tails go on some form of sale, my Oracles are going in the pit too. Not waiting for them to fail right after the extended warranty lapses. >.<
Fixed a narly ding the plastic hood scoop put in my view. :mad:
Note: If you get/own one of these, be careful. Even after stripping the hood clear of all surface protectants/dirt, installing the part, letting it sit overnight with weights/clamps it only took a week to fly off. Bounced off...
Mine was off too...enough so that the tail light side was chipping so I bought some of those 3M door edge guards to stop the chipping. Worked perfect, but yes - QC was on a break during some of our roll-offs. >.<
Another reason I purchased the service plan with my Bronco (oil/filter changes, tire rotations & vehicle inspection). For the price, it was well worth it, and my 63-yr-old body's had enough vehicle servicing gymnastics. :D
Been leasing my wife's vehicles since 2007, and it's pretty much working a payment that fits the budget. One thing new this year was our Jeep dealer only leases "loaner" vehicles after they have 1K miles...we thought weird. It's still treated as a new vehicle lease, and I inspected the vehicle...
