I had a tire take a chunk of steel on the highway that isn’t repairable. My other 4 have plenty of life left, so I’d love to find an unused spare, or a used sasquatch tire, will buy the wheel if needed. Central NC would be preferred but consider other local-ish options. I could replace the tire...
Anyone have a used OEM Sasquatch size tire? I'm not quite ready to replace all 5 yet, but I took a huge chunk of metal on I-40 that the tire shop cannot patch. The hole is like 5" - I can't believe it didn't explode. Anyone have a OEM Sasquatch-sized tire laying around?
Thanks for the feedback! Love the Bimini. I'm still rocking the stock softie 3 years later, but I'm always tempted to try something different! I would love an easier way to keep rain out when my top is up, but the rear and side soft top windows are out.
I made this as a personal project while I was taking a course to learn some new coding techniques. Friends told me it was cool, so I decided to post it.
As long as it doesn't get a ton of traffic, it won't cost me much. Hit me with your feedback and ideas. If I don't get flamed too hard, then...
This sounds like it's coming from somewhere underneath the steering wheel. Any ideas? I get some trips where it's not happening and others where it's clear as day.
2021 2.7L 22k miles. I have a new sound on acceleration. Not every trip, but it's a static-y type sound on acceleration. It almost sound like some alternator whine with it too. I turned off stereo (B&O), air conditioning, and can still hear it. When a Ford tech rode in the vehicle it wasn't...
@Bronkers how's it going with this issue? Ever find out anything more? I have a 2021 2.7 Auto 15K miles and IMO this issue seems to be getting worse for me. The weather is getting colder here so that might have something to do with my recent perception. Did you get it checked out or do any...
@zane8stacks confirming that I understand the outcome of your post:
Cranked the radio up to 28 and played multiple songs with low and punchy bass and heard rattles
So you did all that and you still had rattles or that was a typo? Was it somewhat better at least?
@Tarheel_Wes I am highly considering the JCR. I don't think anyone has one in hand yet, but I like the no drill option and I saw someone who had the RC one say that they weren't very happy with it. JCR seems like it could be a good option nicer than the Ford authorized one but not as much coin...
Anyone have anymore progress on this? I posted in another thread a while back but didn't seem like any solid solutions there either. I think maybe this fix helped some, but I still have a horrendous rattle in the back. I can hold down on the outlet cover and that doesn't seem to do it either. I...
