  1. Broken strut for rear tailgate (terrible design!)

@Bellime It looks like one end utilizes a 1/4-20 and the other end uses a 5/16-16 end. (note I don't have calipers to measure, but am not familiar with a SAE 20 count #10 size fitting. Did you ever find steel ones to replace the factory plastic?
  2. Extending tailgate spare tire rubber bumper?

I was able to solve this by using a blind rivnut (M5 fits well in the factory hole) and then a 60mm bolt when adding a 1” spacer to the factory bump stop. Appreciate the ideas.
  3. Extending tailgate spare tire rubber bumper?

I thought about those but was concerned that when I need to change the tire that bushing could fall off and I’d forget to check on it. The other way it would be secured, but I would need to find a better way to secure it than I have so far. Lol
  4. Extending tailgate spare tire rubber bumper?

I went on Amazon and was able to find the rubber bushings to extend out, great suggestion. Question was how did you secure the factory bump stop to the rubber bushings to the tailgate? I was thinking it would be a longer screw but these are those plastic push pins and there isn’t a nut on the...
  5. The New Diode Dynamics Stage Series Light Bars are live!

So how does this differ from the previous generation? How much brighter is it compared to the prior generation and which setup do you recommend for the Bronco, at the bumper and at the roof?
  6. Switched power on in driver side fuse panel??

I’d prefer to not due that. Trying to keep it with a cleaner look. The MX GNRS is jointed hidden above the glove box, the handheld has a RJ45 plug with its attachment near the USB-c plug. So would like to keep it cleaner looking than using a cig adapter.
  7. Switched power on in driver side fuse panel??

These are all very good rules to follow. I should add on that the fuse I’m tapped into is labeled a spare on the fuse box but has power going to it when the car is turned on. I don’t know what the gauge wire is but it was originally a 5 amp. I’m connecting a Midland MX575 radio and for the...
  8. Switched power on in driver side fuse panel??

Quick update. I was testing the wrong fuse on the add a fuse. Looks like the small 5 amp was busted. To the naked eye it looked good but after a probe all the fuses were good but that one. Ugh. When I was on the trail they all looked good. Now I think I have to keep a tester in the car when I go...
  9. Portable ARB Air Compressor solution in Milwaukee Packout

Apex Designs - these are fantastic. I use to use the STAAB declarers but these are so. Much faster and nicer. When I installed them it took a little persuading to get the TPMS sensor aligned but got it working. Apex Designs RPV XL. You need the XL for the factory wheels with real headlocks. I...
  10. Portable ARB Air Compressor solution in Milwaukee Packout

Agree, the control module makes it so much easier. Reminds me of the air fill up at Costco. Set it and forget it. I also have the quick deflate valves, can drop my 37’s from 38 - 18 psi in about 18 seconds.
  11. Portable ARB Air Compressor solution in Milwaukee Packout

Fully agree, I don’t want anything moving around when it’s not suppose to. Showing the rails as well as in the right side of the picture the plug for the ARB.
  12. Portable ARB Air Compressor solution in Milwaukee Packout

I created something similar, although I have a 1 gallon tank, pulleys and straps also in the “air box”. It’s the same one included in the portable ARB box. The other packout contains impact, driver and battery. I also have a rail in my vehicle to keep these secured when off roading.
  13. Bead Lock Rings

or look to swap your rings with someone who has the silver. you'll likely find locals in your area who may want to swap.
  14. 37s on a 2.3L?

Where did you buy the FDU and axle from? Those prices are competitive.
  15. Icon CDEV settings - what do you run? On/Off-Road

I wanted to start a thread to see what settings everyone is running for their Icon CDEV settings. The factory 4-door setup comes with Normal (2/2), Off-road (4/4) and tow (3/7) : (front/rear). What is everyone running and what custom setups have you done? Ie rock crawl, high speed whoops...
