This is the solution!! Thank you! It took me like 2 minutes to fix once I knew what to do. I didn't even need the sandpaper, I just used the screwdriver flat tip to gently scrape the contact area.

No, not available. Sorry. I ended up installing them after all. I am quite happy with the end product. But installation required a LOT of assembly and time.

No regrets at all here. There are a few things that are annoying. Like the stupid RPM display (vertical bar) on the dash. Wind/road noise for me is not too bad. Of course it's a lot noisier than my wife's Audi but that is expected. Only regret is maybe I should have gone for the Bronco...
