Funny how that hitch looks identical to the one I paid like $1,000 from Ford for... but that bracket in your link seems to have a larger hole than what's in your picture, did you make any changes to it? Or am I missing something?
Ahh, I see, your hitch had a different bracket than the one I got from Ford. That explains it, thanks! BTW, do you have a link or model number to the hitch you got, maybe I can find just the bracket?
Unfortunately mine doesn't have two stops, I opened all the way out, and there's no resistance difference when closing (and it doesn't stay open). Thanks for the input though.

Thanks for the suggestion, but this looks like a product that will prevent the tailgate from swinging out to far, from the description it doesn't seem to be able to lock it in place once open.
Where I usually park my -22 Wildtrak it's at a little bit of an angle so the cargo door/tailgate won't stay open. Do you know of anyone selling a stronger strut/damper, or maybe some kind of lock on the strut, that will allow the door to stay open when loading/unloading? Thanks!
