Get a Sprint Booster or a Pedal Commander. They have many settings, and can take away all the throttle lag that your heart desires. 300 HP in the 2.3 is plenty capable of throwing you back in the seat, once you get rid of the throttle lag that Ford builds in to cripple performance.
Edit to add...
Looks like the Chase version is luck of the draw. I only bought one and received the standard.
Fingers crossed for a member here to hit the Chase lotto!

Whatever you do, be honest with identifying the battery type clearly. People need to know and plan for the risks of LiPo versus Li-Ion for example. I personally will never buy a unit that only has "Made in China" printed on it, with no battery...
Mine was built November '21, delivered early January '22. I installed a Bestop just a couple months later in March, and the hardtop has been sitting in a corner of the garage ever since. 4.5 years later the Bestop is looking a bit rough (can't see out the rear window, side windows aren't far...
I'd like them to provide remedies for my three open recalls, before I can worry about what to bring back. I'm convinced the LP Fuel Pump is the root cause of my constant limp mode woes :(
(Monday) The way the wind worked, I was hit with 14.5" behind the house, and 18" out front. It was high enough that the skid plates got a nice scrubbing 😅
* Dropping the motor (In the early 90's I had the pleasure of jacking mine up into the air with a highlift jack, corner by corner, supported by 6x6s until high enough to drag the cradle out from under)
Mine never overheated (lucky I guess), but I did have the positive battery lead shorting...
The 2.3 with stock Ford pedal-to-throttle-lag settings might seem sluggish, but I assure you that the feeling is much better when using a Sprint Booster. I only run premium fuel so the supposed 300HP / 325 lb.ft. torque translates beautifully when not stifled by stock settings. It's very fun.

I like the back of the seats so they are there when my Bestop is folded back, and they can also be admired from the outside with the top up, side and rear windows removed.
