Ford can't even produce a code to show that it was operators error when our transmissions blew after flat towing it, however they certainly had no problem not warranty it.
Please keep all on this forum advised what Ford ends up doing for you. Many of us have been given the middle finger when it comes to Ford and this neutral tow issue.

Unfortunately, Ford is going to fight you if they determine that you were towing the vehicle. According to one of the posters on this thread who spoke to my husband, Ford is aware there is an issue but they are not warrantying it and blaming it on consumer. We will never flat tow this vehicle...
Did the dealership give you any reason why they wanted you to tow it on a trailer? I mean honestly for them to tell you that you need to trailer it screams "we know that there is an issue with flat towing the Bronco" don't you agree?
Be prepared to very frustrated. The dealership will point fingers to Ford and Ford will point fingers to the dealership. We had a very similar incident. We were traveling cross country and had flat towed our Bronco at least 10 times with no issue. We followed the instructions to a tee...
