The upfitter switches do not have power. You must connect the wires that go to them (located on the firewall) to something that has a power source. They just turn the power on and off (probably through grounding). At least that is the way I interpret it. So far, I have just followed the...
I don't think there is a protective coating the will stand up to the abuse armor can get. I just get out a rattle can of black paint and touch up the scratches to help keep them from rusting. Works great until the the next time, then I repeat.
I recently bought 3 Motorcraft oil filters for my Bronco online through Walmart. Should i be concerned they are confederate? They look look exactly like the one i bought for my last oil changed that I got from Auto Zone.
I do all the maintenance on all my vehicles. One exception is the transmission, other than some seals. I change the fluid or gear lube but don't do internal work.

That looks like it is used for removing the transmission with the vehicle on or near the ground. I may be interested in it but I would need to see it in person.
How much lift does it have from fully down to full up?
They are for off-roading but are not warrantied for racing or racing like activity. So, I guess if you blast across the dessert at high speeds they are not covered under warranty. They will also not honor the warranty if you over load beyond Fords rated load capacity. Key takeaway on this is...
I still have my original windshield. I purchased in Nov. 24 and have about 8K miles on it. I did get hit with a strong wind gust with sand and debris. That gave the windshield some minor small sand blast pits but not noticeable until going directly into the sun. Not bad enough to do anything...
