This looks great. Due to Ford's games with configuration they would not allow the Mid package with Manual + Black Diamond. Looking at the website that's an option now, but in 2021 the only way to get both the passive keyless and a manual was to go all the way up a Badlands. That was a lot of...
Hello FORSCanners. I just got new tires put in and it's been 3 years and the old laptop is gone so I had to redo the steps again and wouldn't you know it the WINE wrapper of 2026 is not the wrapper that worked in 2025 nor the one that worked in 2023. Updated gist instructions
Maybe you can take it off the same way you remove a locking nut without the key: sacrifice a cheap harbor freight socket that's only a bit smaller and hammer it on top of the round one?
Glad you got some resolution. I'll have to get it to the dealer at some point then. Hopefully there's someone nice there because I don't think I'm persuasive enough to get them to fix their problem at their own cost. There's no way I'm paying $2k, I'll just live with it not fully functional...
@snow776 When I put my VIN in I don't see that recall/campaign, but also doesn't that seem unrelated to CarPlay/Android Auto Issues? That recall is about the reverse camera view showing up at the wrong time. I guess that's a Sync issue as well?
Does the Sync not do over the air updates? When I go through the update menu it tells me the system is up to date and that I have automatic updates on. I don't know if I have a newer or older version than you, it's a completely different format:
"SYNC 4, Software Version: 21146_PRODUCT...
A month or two ago Google Maps stopped working in Car Play for me. As soon as I start navigation the screen freezes and Car Play crashes until I do the soft reset (ie stop the car and open the door) or the Power + Forward hard reset.
I was hoping this upgrade to ios 26 would fix it but it...
Instant order for the cup holder. I made a cup holder for my back seat with a RAM Mount rail adapter, an arm, and a cup holder and it was $56.
The Amazon page shows a 17 mm ball adapter, but I don't think it's included and I don't see it as a separate item to order. Is that coming soon?
Yeah I was afraid I'd be getting a new windshield multiple times per year. It had never occurred to me that might be a problem until I saw here on the forum that Jeep owners are familiar with this. Then I started noticing almost every jeep I see driving around has bullseyes on their windshield...
I got a huge crack in my windshield 6 weeks after I got it and 1 week after spending $200 on windshield tint. I was also very annoyed and didn't get the tint replaced. That was in 2021 and 2 years 10 months later I'm still on that second windshield with no chips.
I went to the Moab Offroadeo...
Also forgot the reason I came to post in this thread. My 37s were fitting on the stock carrier + a cheapo Rough Country reinforcement just fine. Mine is a Black Diamond so came with different offset (-55) and my aftermarket wheels had yet a different offset (-6) so not the same situation as...
My first time with 37s too. I've got different tires (Radar Renegade RT 37x12.50R17LT) and I've been back for balance and alignment three times in the first 10k miles of them, but haven't been back in another 15k since then. The dealership was the worst. 4 Wheel Parts got them a little better...
I would love to see both bags in person. On Amazon the various sellers (which all seem to be the same actual bag) currently charge $160 for all 4. Where the OEM are almost 3X the cost at $259/front and $239/rear. There doesn't appear to be any 3rd party attempt at making the On Board storage...
