Great job of troubleshooting! Ford techs would have probably changed the sensor, reflashed the computer and put on a new harness. And charged you for all of that.

I got a set of Eibachs for my OB SAS, to level up front due to winch bumper i installed. I did not notice the missing bit about the fasteners so it all looked pretty easy. I‘ll have to relook and see how much it will slow me down, thanks for the heads up.
