Your order should qualify for the Employee Pricing promo that is currently in effect. The promo applies to both dealer stock and special order vehicles (must place order by 7/7/25). Ask your dealer for a copy of the DORA--when you call or stop in, ask to speak to a new car manager or the...
I think it was Kit #29, its been a while. The kit had the Four100 Musway amp and harness, I also added the 10" powered Kicker sub.. I called and talked to Joe the owner and he put a package together for me, including making the harness so it would adapt to the amp and connect up the sub. I...
I really didn't have to tune the amp, the biggest adjustment I made was to the gain--set it barely an 1/8th of a turn from factory and upped the bass output just a smidge. You can bridge the front and rear using the amp to get more volume from the rear pods, but I actually like the soundstage...
IMHO, I added new speakers all around, including upgrading the rear pods, and used Kicker KS series speakers throughout. Did it sound better?-- meh, I was able to turn it up louder, but still had the '70's LTD AM radio sounding setup. These speakers don't open up until they get some power...
The only person who can answer your question is you. Will you feel good about the deal when you wake up the next morning and are standing in the driveway or garage with your first cup of coffee pondering your decision.
Why did the dealer complete the delivery, and you accept it, if their portion of the work wasn't completed? Most dealers--if they still owe parts/accessories will complete a "We Owe" worksheet that lays out what work or parts are needed to complete the sales contract...did they have you sign...
You would get a better answer by contacting a dealer directly. If it's still in the 3yr/36K mile warranty, as an accessory, it may be covered. If you bought it from a Ford dealer, check with the service department, or even your salesman (they may try to get you one as customer service...
Damn people, it's the OP's first day and first post, give em a break. I think ya'll made your point about reading the Iowa thread already. I'm sure none of the rest of you have ever committed such a henious offense that deserved this lynch mob.
OBX has the Sand/Snow GOAT mode available for a little peace of mind. For general winter driving, in most cases 2H will be sufficient, even on partially covered snow/slush/wet roads. I typically never use 4H unless there is full snow pack, or drifting snow. You'll be fine..just get out an...
One question not asked is, where are you driving? Are you driving country roads (gravel/rock), or on paved streets, Interstate, etc? I'm across the river from you so we have similar weather. Last winter I used 4H for a grand total of 4-5 days, and 4L once for like a block. If you're driving...
What type of noise? Is it a scraping noise, or thunk that goes away after acceleration and turn, or tapping that varies with rpms, is it metal on metal, or dull like something hitting the underbody?
Was this maybe a dealership commercial? I don't see anything pics like this on the Ford.com website. The 2025 MY images to show changes/restyling haven't been released yet.
