I really didn't have to tune the amp, the biggest adjustment I made was to the gain--set it barely an 1/8th of a turn from factory and upped the bass output just a smidge. You can bridge the front and rear using the amp to get more volume from the rear pods, but I actually like the soundstage...

IMHO, I added new speakers all around, including upgrading the rear pods, and used Kicker KS series speakers throughout. Did it sound better?-- meh, I was able to turn it up louder, but still had the '70's LTD AM radio sounding setup. These speakers don't open up until they get some power...

Why did the dealer complete the delivery, and you accept it, if their portion of the work wasn't completed? Most dealers--if they still owe parts/accessories will complete a "We Owe" worksheet that lays out what work or parts are needed to complete the sales contract...did they have you sign...

What type of noise? Is it a scraping noise, or thunk that goes away after acceleration and turn, or tapping that varies with rpms, is it metal on metal, or dull like something hitting the underbody?
