I had a 2022 Badlands with numerous problems, some Ford didn't want to fix, so I moved on to a 2024 4Runner TRD Premium. Hopefully, you're have better luck than me. Honestly, I think Jim Farley is tanking the company. Quality is poor across the line, you don't have to look any further than...
The other thread was closed to comments for some reason, so figured I'd open this one up. Last year, not sure about 2025's, but in 2024, the Ford Bronco was 18%, US and Canadian made. That was one with an automatic transmission (American). I say that because the manual transmission (is China...
You're not the only one, buying a new vehicle, especially a Ford, and then selling for another one a year later, you have got to be willing to take a pounding, especially if you trade it in and forgo private party sale.
I'm starting to see Raptors, like 2023 and 2024 with low miles at the $72K and $75K price point resale. The newness of the model has worn off, the supply is up, and dealers are swamped with inventory they can't sell. And Fords have never been great value resalers.
HAHA, LOL, you are confusing Ford with another manufacturer, Ford no longer understands anything about quality, even when their slogan was "Quality is Job #1", it never really was.
Dude, dealers make their money on used cars, not new ones, so they have to steal them from people unwise enough to trade them in. Two, Fords DO NOT hold their value, especially after a period of time like the pandemic. I have always wanted to get my wife a new car and maybe if she gets a...
Bronco sat at the dealer for several months, FMC finally sent someone out, checked the RCM, pulled no real data and refused to check the PCM for some reason. My guess was all the relevant data would have been in that computer. I mean the Ford Pass had a powertrain malfunction at the exact time...
It cut out, and then would not auto-restart on pressing the clutch, or even restart after pressing the start button, during which time, it had no brakes. I still can't explain it and Ford appeared to not be as concerned as I originally thought they would be.
My reaction could have arguably been better or different, but the initial issue was the malfunction that caused the chain of events. But I get it, I'm the same way, skeptical of much of what I see online, so I can't fault you for your opinion.
At the executive meeting today, we have only enough money for one job, A. sue a meaningless company that thinks our new and old Broncos are cool or B. spend that money on better quality control.......yep sue that company, screw our terrible quality control🤣
They needed to fix the 5th and 6th gear synchos I believe. The repair went from taking 1 week to 3 + because they needed to crack the case open and allegedly there is a special tool to do so and they had to order it. The remaining time I had it, it was fine and I still miss shifting gears, but...
