  2. Hard top squeaking - gasket lubricant?

    My driver's side front panel was squeaking also. Found that it was a locating pin rubbing on something just enough to make a noise. Used heat shrink tubing over the pin and haven't heard it since.

    I did rough them up a bit with scotchbite. I saw a another thread that they accept paint well with the factory coating that has been scuffed. And if I messed them I would have them powder coated in a similar MIC color. .
