I got the canvas version. I agree that I don’t want a gap at the front and that is a benefit of how the bikini installs. The only latches currently accessible with the bikini fully installed are the two outside latches. The 4 middle latches (front and back) and the front corner hook latches are...
It is debatable whether or not the Bronco Bikini can remain on under your hard top. When properly installed you CANNOT place your front panels back on the truck (I have a 2DR so I have no idea about the middle panel on 4DRs.) You CAN remove the canvas from the 4 front posts and either loosely...
I wanted to but with this trip lining up with my eligibility window ending, I couldn’t make both work. My eligibility ended yesterday. Unfortunately I bought a new 2024 at the tail end of 2025 so I had very little time to work out a long weekend trip, probably to Tennessee, for the off-roadeo.
So, for the drive to and from Idaho, I had my two small kids in the back (8 and 5). They didn’t complain about the ride beyond how long it was. My sisters rode in the back for a morning in Yellowstone and complimented how much space there was back there.
Tell me about the Sheep Mountain Table road! I’m still really miffed I missed out on it. I really want to take this truck off-road but my home location is so dismal for it. I don’t even necessarily want to do anything super challenging I just want to get off the beaten path more.
Also nice...
My family and I went on our first major road trip last week and I wanted to share some of my experiences since I’m probably driving a less than ideal Bronco for this sort of trip.
The Bronco
I’m driving a 2024 2D BadSAS with manual transmission. I fell in to a BadSAS because I found a good deal...
Yeah this is an annoying thing that plagues basically all Fords with SYNC3+. My 2017 Focus SEL had the same problem. I'm sure many people know this already but I'll add it here for those that don't. The best and quickest way to solve this from my experience is to hold the radio power and right...
I have 2D so it has manual seats. The annoying thing is that when I use the lever to move the seat to open the back seat and then return the seat to its position, it never fully locks. This frequently results in the seat shifting and locking under my butt while driving which is annoying...
I took mine to Bob Rorhman Ford in Schaumburg. Mine probably took so long in part due to it being over Christmas and New Years. Lots of non-working days.
I’m kind of surprised they HAD another transmission for you in that short of a time AND had it replaced. Maybe they had one ready.
