Yeah this is an annoying thing that plagues basically all Fords with SYNC3+. My 2017 Focus SEL had the same problem. I'm sure many people know this already but I'll add it here for those that don't. The best and quickest way to solve this from my experience is to hold the radio power and right...
I have 2D so it has manual seats. The annoying thing is that when I use the lever to move the seat to open the back seat and then return the seat to its position, it never fully locks. This frequently results in the seat shifting and locking under my butt while driving which is annoying...
I took mine to Bob Rorhman Ford in Schaumburg. Mine probably took so long in part due to it being over Christmas and New Years. Lots of non-working days.
Iām kind of surprised they HAD another transmission for you in that short of a time AND had it replaced. Maybe they had one ready.
I donāt know for sure. Mine was in for another warranty service and I mentioned the cracking top. When I finally picked it up the service consultant mentioned that he got approval from Ford to replace the hard top. It wasnāt very long after that when he said it arrived but I donāt actually know...
I had mine replaced under warranty recently. I learned that Ford doesnāt send new tops with glass so the dealer had to transfer my glass to the new top.
I feel like something went wrong with the new top or glass transfer because wind noise from one side of the truck is noticeably worse than the...
Hey everyone, just found this group!
I bought this 2024 manual transmission Badlands new back in September 2025. It has been a rocky few months as it has already had the transmission and rear hard top fully replaced but otherwise its been great!
I bought a new ā24 in late September ā25 and it came with cracks from the dealer. Primarily around the corners of the side glass. I recently had it returned to me with a new top from Ford under warranty. The smell of the adhesive they used to glue a new sound deadening headliner is awful. Itās...
A bit of a late update but my Bronco was returned to me on Jan 22. Took exactly 6 weeks for drop off to pick up. The transmission was entirely replaced. Itās only been a week but truck seems good. Frigid cold here in Chicago and no grinding sound. Especially quiet once the car is fully warmed...
I received a more definitive update today after a bunch of back and forth about waiting on parts, tools, getting it in, and needing more parts.
According to the service consultant, they found actual scoring and damage inside the unit so they have reached out to Ford again to opt for a total...
Too late for me! Iāve also not really heard of any failures due to the rattle. But, it is early on in the life of the vehicle and grinding or rattling noises in the drivetrain are usually not a good thing. So, its a combination of that and the principle. Maybe it wonāt lead to anything but Iām...
Yeah I was pretty annoyed. Even if they donāt have the tool, youād think that Ford would outline the necessary tool(s) along with the parts needed when a dealer declares the need to do this repair.
Update: The dealership confirmed the issue prior to Christmas, got approval from Ford, and ordered the parts for the repair all under warranty. They stuck me in a Bronco Sport loaner and now iām just waiting. Last I heard, they havenāt started any work because they lack the necessary tools. I...
Iām going to add my voice to the pile here. Iām driving a new 2024 Badlands. I bought it only a few months ago and it has around 2800 miles. I live in the Chicagoland area and the truck was outside most of the day yesterday in the cold. When I turned it on, I experienced the same sounds as in...
