Queue up another "sport mode is the only way to drive it" comment. I would love it if I could have the Bronco default to it every time instead of having the 0.00001 second window to click "return to sport mode"

Seems to be an insane amount of overlap between these and the Land Cruiser both price wise and capability wise. Are there really any major differences aside from the 4Runner looking angry and the LC looking more retro?

For what to get - my advice would be find a 4 door Big Bend or OBX on a lot somewhere with a soft top, 2.3 I-4, and some money on the hood if you want the best blend of on road creature comforts and reliability. 2 Door is definitely the one for purists, but the 4 door is considerably more...

The special trim constraints for colors are mildly infuriating. Would love the option for the yellow or tan that were locked behind the heritage limited and everglades.

I ended up going the same route and got the order cancelled and refunded. I was told they were "backordered until October, however they can't guarantee that date would reflect the actual date when the manufacturer would restock them."
