I like a lot about the LC also but not the hybrid system, the one I test drove was not very seamless. The GX550's V6 was much better and is the way I'd go!
It's true GM has had a ton of trouble with their V8's lately, but it's not like Ford's engines are stellar and have no problems! GM has a new generation V8 coming out and cylinder deactivation can be deactivated so I'd be willing to try one out.

Same spot about an inch up from bottom on the wife's side! We got it last September on our way to the White Rim Trail. I have been putting it off but someone said to get it fixed before it cracked and would need replaced. That person said they had problems with getting everything calibrated. I...

Do you have proof of your statement? And possibly it's true, but I'll standby that changing oil at 3k miles is better on turbos than letting dirty oil lubricant those turbos with 7,8,9,10k miles on it!
True I have no proof that changing it every 3k miles has any benefits, but I have a strong hunch that clean fresh oil is much better than nasty dirty oil with 7-10k on it! Ford also has no problem putting plastic oil pans on their engines and transmission but I have another hunch that it's...
