Cerakote Trim Kit
We used this based on a rec from our tint guy. He uses it on all plastics for his cars. His Honda Element happened to be at the shop that day and it looked brand new (which those plastics get the wavy look with intensity). He said he washes/ wipes with 90% alcohol and then...
If $ were no object, BD. But I don't know that I would advise any 18yo to willingly go into that type of debt for something that depreciates like a vehicle.
To each his own though.
Same here. First tire change we did in a truck stop parking lot at 11pm one night (ps - welding rods and tires don't mix). We have since done two 5 tire rotations at a shop and at home.
Never reset anything, just kept it moving. Never had an issue or error.
It actually helped with the wind noise that I had. The only time I notice wind noise is when there is a headwind, but for all intents and purposes I AM driving a brick. :)
YES!!! Agreed. I have also thought that a design that would slide into the seat or clip into the anchors would be nice...
Same here. We got one chip after a week of ownership, but nothing since we installed the hood - nothing. Over 34 K miles and still the same windshield (we did a DIY kit to repair the one spot)
There are a few that I have a love/hate or hate/hate view of:
Husky rear floor mat - It is molded about 1-2" higher than the hump in the floor so it just collects dirt underneath that area. The designer/engineer sent a new mat, but it has the same issue. BUT I love the extended coverage over...
A rear cupholder option that isn't on the floor.
A throwback bench console cooler type of thing that could click into the anchors or be secured to the seat in case of sudden braking. - That would be magical.
Had a few rain storms soak my cargo area twice last summer. The second one filled the storage compartment under the cargo mat with water. I just pulled the drain plug, put all the mats out on my driveway so the sun hit them and the cargo area and it all dried out in an afternoon.
I have the storage bag that will hang on the back seat. It works perfectly so we can travel somewhere (the beach) and keep the windows out when we have unloaded the stuff but have the windows handy based on the forecast.
Does this work around of closing the dash vents help with the rear/under seat vents? We were sweating from the hot air coming out at us while our kids had only cold air coming out at them this weekend.
