  1. Honest Opinion

I kinda like it. FWIW, i painted the rings to match the body color, so I'm biased to a little personalization. Do what makes you happy.
  2. Tired of the Sticker Blight on Trails??

I've seen everything from bullet holes in signs in Hawaii, stickers on nearly ever chair lift pole from Vermont to Montana, Joanie loves Chachie carved in to hiking trails everywhere, and people carving their names bellow petroglyphs in Utah. I'm also born and raised in NYC, so I can't...
  3. First Mystery On My New Bronco

Are your roof panels and wiring secure (rear driver's side corner of the cargo area)? My seatbelts clunk against the frame, adjust them so they sit flat and see if the sound persists. Do you keep your little pouch of tools in the cubby in the cargo area like I do? The next best thing is to...
  4. PA people, any trails in Western PA?

According to OnX, there is a large network of mostly easy, but also some moderate trails North East of Punxsatawney. I just did AOAA a few weeks ago. It may be out of your 3 hour range and I benefited greatly by going with people that knew the trails, but it was a lot of fun.
  5. Rotor Life

Following. Just measured 9.5mm on my front pads with 18,500 miles. Rotors look pristine.
  6. The Official Bronco6G Photo Challenge Game 📸 🤳

I managed to get all 5 tires on the ground at once. I didn't get a picture of me doing it from a bystander, but this was the view from inside the Bronco as I dragged my bumper and spare (just a little bit).
  7. Giveaway! Show Us Your Rig & Win a FREE Set of Michelin Floor Mats!

The roof and doors come off quite a bit on mine. The problem is that the rear OEM floor mats catch air and try to fly away at highway speeds. How do the Michelin's do in that scenerio?
  8. Friday Topic: Does Your Bronco Have a Name?

It is also the name of the ship in James S.A. Corey's Expanse series of books, they make references to Don Quixote in it. I'm currently half way through book 8 of 9.
  9. Friday Topic: Does Your Bronco Have a Name?

After 1.5 years, my wife just this week named my Bronco... The Mistress.
  10. DIY Rolling Hardtop Storage Shelf

Yeah, we'd be friends. Custom built storage to fit your exact needs. Love it.
  11. Going to the Gilford, NH Off Roadeo on May 30th?

You can also do some extra-curricular off-roading after the Roadeo. I'm sure this is the case with other locations (especially Moab), there are many opportunities to get in your own rig. The purpose of this thread was to organize an additional ride, but that didn't work out due to various...
  12. Going to the Gilford, NH Off Roadeo on May 30th?

@Dexter @BRONK66 I got in touch with a few people going to the Off Roadeo on Saturday that are interested in going out on Sunday, but have never gone off road before. So I'm thinking that Natty's Route with that portion by Clapp Rd may discourage some. With all the rain we've had lately that...
  13. Has anyone had cracking/problems with the painted hardtop?

1.5 years and doing well. Like others have said, it scuffs easy, but I find a black marker does a decent job of hiding the scratches from putting stuff on the roof.
  14. AI Roast Your Bronco 🔥

Well, that was brutal. I think I'm going to go get a minivan now. Oh man, where do I even start with this glorified blueberry on stilts? Your Bronco looks like it lost a fight with a Smurf village and then tried to cosplay as a serious off-roader. That electric blue paint is so...
  15. Is anyone running the FK Full Roll Cage

Nerd time: I build with carpentry, not metal, but the complete lack of triangulated weight dispersal makes me very suspicious of the efficacy of this structure. Check the strength of any structure squared off and then add in triangulated supports and the rigidity difference is extreme. Any...
