  1. Pulling Telematics Modem Fuse 20 under dash

This looks like a market for potential Slate sales https://www.mobilityengineeringtech.com/component/content/article/55318-slates-modem-free-pickup-brings-privacy-back-to-driving?oly_enc_id=4357D1949023E1Y
  2. Wolfbox Wide-Angle Convex Side Mirrors (Pair) from $69.99. Extra Discount Code Included!

i struggled with the same thing. The female connector on the 2-wire harness has a tab, but there’s also two L-shaped clips on the mirror to further secure it. I couldn’t do it with one hand while holding the mirror in the other. And the wire is very short. I ended up breaking the left L-clip...
  3. Sand vs Baja mode for Silver Lake Dunes

Last time I went to Silver Lake Sand Dunes was like 20 years ago, but yeah I remember it as all deep dry sand (dry for Michigan). Sand mode is better for a couple reasons: Sand mode defaults with rear locker on, which is what you want. Of course, you could use Baja and turn on the rear locker...
  4. I guess I am old. What else have you noticed.

I am guessing “fat pedal“ is less commonly heard compared to “skinny pedal”, especially in enthusiast settings like a track event or car clinic, because there is no fat pedal when there are 3 pedals. In manuals, there’s a skinny pedal and the other two - which are small. 😁 Other terminology I...
  5. I guess I am old. What else have you noticed.

I‘m used to “skinny pedal” but not “fat pedal”. Makes me think of Abbott & Costello.
  6. Random Bronco Photos of the Day Thread! 📸 🤳

The custom garage that makes those needs to change their name from Apocalypse Manufacturing to Abomination Manufacturing.
  7. Turn Offroad Rear Taillight Guard Reviews

What do you call this if not “cutting” (which is what Turn’s narration calls it)? Sure it’s not cutting the painted surface since that surface is already split, but the part does need to be cut to split the mounting bracket. To restore to original, would the back mounting section have to be...
  8. Bronco Toys, Diecast, RC

that’s a nice display shelf! I need to get something like that for my collection.
  9. Newbie Offroad question. Maximum horizontal inclination?

yeah I was very impressed with that one. It hits all the topics I could have thought of and more with clear descriptions.
  10. Newbie Offroad question. Maximum horizontal inclination?

If you’re going to criticize someone’s word choice, you might at least check your own post for typos. 😉 “Side slope” or I suppose “sideways incline“ would be more clear. OP here’s a good article that highlights that there really isn’t a set side slope limit before rolling. Too dynamic a...
  11. Decal Placement

I put a general US National Parks on my back window glass instead of one for each park. One is about my limit, and only on glass. The first thing I did when I got my Bronco was remove the dealer license plate bracket. No company advertisement decals, unless they include a monthly payment.
  12. Decal Placement

    Trash can - it’s a Bronco, not a Subaru. 😉
  13. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

I managed to fix my stuck driver side mirror motor without having to buy a new one. 🎉 I temporarily tried the Wolfbox curved side mirror, but when I put my OEM mirror back on, I pressed to hard off-center. The motor over-extended upwards and got jammed. Lucky the motor is a replaceable part...
