These dudes know IFS so I gave them a shot. Definitely an increase in articulation over the Zones I had on previously. With poly bushings and the uniball, there will be periodic maintenance but the with built in zerk fittings, it'll be easy to grease. Looking forward to putting them to work.
UPDATE: Turns out the clicking sound was the skid plate. Once on the lift, we pushed up on the skid plate and the sound stopped. Keep in mind, the skid plates were not loose at all. It took two of us to push up on the skid plate to eliminate the clicking.
The main shock bolts were fine...
Just got off the phone with King. They said I will need to take the load off the shock before removing the skid plates and even then, there will be still some load on them. Trying to remove them with the full weight of the vehicle "would be catastrophic".
It made sense when I had the OEM...
I just starting hearing clicking sound from my passenger side. Doesnāt click while driving straight; only when turning the wheel. While parked, had the wife turn the wheel back and forth and I definitely feel the clicking on the LCA. Nothing from the tie rod or CV. I do have DV8 LCA skids...
37x12.5x17 Iron Mountain M/Ts on -18 offset Method 312s. I did have rub since these are actual 37s and had to cut about an inch off the rear crash bar bracket. It now clears at full lock in both forward and reverse. Iām on Kings so about a 3ā lift.
Iāve made some changes since the original post. Iām on Kings now and Iām sitting just under 77ā (probably 76 3/4ā). Easily fits in the garage.

Have the grab handles. Looks like the stirrup option is out due to the plastic doorsill cover. Looks like a rope and stool until I save up for the RSE steps. š
Sheās not āstuckā, chief. She loves driving it. Looking for options to help her get in it solo. Power steps are garbage other than Rockslide Engineering and Iām not ready to spend $2500 just yet.
Gas prices have me spending $15-$18 a DAY to commute so the Bronco will be my wife's daily driver. BOOO! And before I get the flood of "But I get 25mpg in my Sasquatch 2.7L", that isn't my reality. I'm at 14.5mpg to and from work (40ish miles, all freeway).
So on to the topic...My wife has a...
