I still believe they did not misstated the capacity of the 2.7... they just didn't want to recall the dipsticks... have a 2021 with 26,000 miles.... have always run 7 quarts. in it.... oil pan is the same on the 3.0 that also holds 7 quarts...

never replaced one on my 2021... still using factory one... never leaked

This is one reason why I run 7 qts. oil in my 2.7.... better mileage... :) And this true mileage... I have adjusted the AFE blas: Factor to my hand calculated mileage...

Some do use that amount and oil change time increases.....

They use 4 gal.... longer between oil changes ... more oil... less break down of the oil...

Can you give a reason why they run 4 gals. of oil in a 140 hp tractor and recommend a oil change every 800 hrs in the diesel tractor? I can...

The payments you have been making is mostly interest.... you will be messing up... but what do I know..... have not financed a new car is 40 years... always pay cash...

I own 5 oil wells here in Texas.... I can afford to waste one....

I just run 7 qts. in mine so I don't have to worry about that....

I do every time.... and still using the factory drain plug... no leaks...
