Someone smashed my Bronco last week and it's probably getting totaled. My first thought after they hit me was, "dad-gummit they don't make this color anymore!!!"
My parents are retired and split their time between here (Arkansas) and their condo in PCB, FL so I have access to the car they leave here while they are in Florida. It's not ideal, but better than sharing with my wife!
Insurance is taking their time and the police report still isn't done so I...
I drove an EG Sasquatch Badlands with the 2.7L. As to be expected It had more get up & go on the interstate on-ramps and better passing power than the 2.3L, but without the shifting I kind of just felt like I was driving an F-150. I didn't have time to drive the Ranger Raptor so will check that...
Thanks for the feedback everyone. I wish I had done more research beforehand on 6th gear with the manual lol. I've been driving it for 3 years and had no idea 6th gear was less efficient than 5th gear when cruising at speed.
I need to take my wife's Expedition up to the dealership today so I...
Nashville is probably only 8 hours away so this could be an option. Does the 2.3L have enough juice to turn those 35s? I always felt that mine didn't like driving 70+ on the interstate and that was only 33s. It was perfect around town and off-road though.
Last week, a fellow motorist decided that I needed a new vehicle so he decided to jump the median and run straight into my Bronco going 40mph. Fortunately, the airbag worked, and I walked away with only a scratch on my forearm from the airbag deploying. Unfortunately, Juice is going to the...
I'm at 8K miles in my BL 2.3 MT. Haven't reset the MPGs yet and it's at 19.7. This truck loves running 40-60 MPH, but start losing MPGs over 70. I lose MPG on interstate trips and gain some back driving around town. Seems pretty backwards, but driving a cube against the wind is hard work.
I had this issue as well, but on a 2.3L. I only noticed the sound when I was turning into the neighborhood, but it went away on its own after a week or so.
Does anyone have a recommendation on an adjustable cup holder insert? The factory cupholders are too big for cans and water bottles, but too small for coffee cups, tumblers, etc.
Since I really cranked them down they haven't re-loosened so there must be some minimum torque spec. We will see how they hold up now that colder weather is here.
EDIT: just saw the above post on the spec.
I have the smaller Sync 4 system and I have had an issue where the screen stops responding to touch. Android auto is still working and the voice commands (Ford and Google) still work, but touch input no longer registers. Just to be clear, the screen itself is still working (navigation tracks or...
I turned mine off after the first day. I'd rather have the extra real estate on the screen especially since the tach is hard enough to read as it is (7MT).
