There's a guy on YouTube who does a lot of videos on undercoatings and he tested this. Used oil worked better than nothing but fluid film was noticeably better.
I drove it many years ago in my lifted 90s explorer on mud tires and get held up by motorcycles and cars.
Too many tourists who go just to say they did it and have a photo op.

Ok so you have a Bronco Sport. If you need a new tire, odds are you will need to replace all 4. AWD and automatic 4WD systems want the tires to be within a certain percentage of the same tire circumference. If they're not it can cause problems. I'm not up to speed on the Sports, but I assume...
Unless you disconnect stuff, Ford is still tracking your Bronco.
On an older Chevy I had I disconnected the Onstar system under the drivers seat. Not sure what it would it take on the Bronco but you'll lose OTA updates.
