Buying my '22 Badsquatch from y'all was so much more pleasurable than the usual dealer experience. I had to fly in and drive it 750 miles home, but would do it again in a heartbeat if/when I want to buy one of the brands y'all carry.
When I sold my '18 Model 3 Performance in August, its price was somewhat diminished vs recent highs as well. EV's aren't immune from overall market dynamics.
Hurricane Ian damaged tens of thousands, and maybe more, cars that will need to be replaced. We don't have excess inventories sitting...
I also drive a Model Y Performance powered by free electricity (9pm-9am daily) and a '19 Mazda MX-5 which can get 30+ mpg when I don't drive it too hard (which is rare).
I can definitely understand how you feel. I had a day 1 reservation that just got delivered last month. In January '21, I was really tired of waiting so I bought a used '19 JLUR to tide me over. At the time, I expected we'd own it 6 months, but it turned into a year and a half and 18K miles...
I'm ready to buy an ARB dual air compressor, but am undecided on what mount to pair it with. Do any of you have any experience with, or feedback on the pros and cons of the current options on the market? Did I miss any of them?
KR Off-Road Bracket...
FYI, you shouldn't need an OHV sticker there since it's private land. You can find a list of all retailers who sell the sticker at the Texas OHV sticker site.
I like it, but don't love it. First, the quality of the plastics could be better. It needs rear A/C vents and a fold-down rear seat cushion w/ cupholders. The dash layout is stupid - why did they waste space on an analog AND digital speedo?
One thing I haven't seen mentioned is that Squatch gets you hub-centric wheels, while aftermarket will likely be lug-centric. Although I have a set of lug-centric track wheels for my Miata, I greatly prefer installing lug-centric wheels...especially as heavy as they are on a Bronco...
I was planning to skip the Sqatch on my Badlands order until I attended the Off-Roadeo and ended up driving one w/ the Squatch package. I was just so impressed with how effortlessly it ran over everything, not to mention the looks as well.
I just took delivery of my BadSquatch Monday last week...
I flew to Des Moines Monday morning, and was picked up by Savannah to take me to Granger. Upon arriving, I was greeted by Samantha and then Shelby, both of whom were friendly and provided exceptional service. The transaction was completed in just minutes, though Samantha helped set up my Ford...
Thanks for the feedback. I'm flying from DFW to Des Moines Monday to pick up my long-awaited Bronco. Samantha, Shelby, and Hunter (before he took a different role) have all been great to deal with so far, and have kept their word about every aspect of the transaction. I wish all dealerships...
Autonomous driving would be cool so you could drive to the top of a mountain, ride your MTB down, and have your Jeep/Bronco/etc. autonomously drive to the end of the trail to pick you up.
The biggest difference in ride quality is likely attributable to the Suburban's longer wheelbase - the longer the wb, the smoother the ride all else being equal.
