  2. iKamper BDV Rooftop Tent review & what to look for in a RTT

Always appreciate your uploads, great info. My Wife and I spent 5 weeks on and off across 20 states this summer in the iKamper Mini
  3. Trailrax Roof Rack

Parts inbound...can't really ask for more than that. Too bad I won't be able to switch out until I get back from our big trip, adventure waits for nothing!
  4. TrailRax RTT compatibility

Looks like it is about 44 1/2" wide inside the rails - which is where the mountings will go - and 94 1/2" long, however the rear end is 'open' so things could go longer, but will eventually interfere with your glass coming up in the back
  5. Trailrax Roof Rack

100% agree with lining up first - the frustration came from the bolts not biting until pressure was applied. Normally I like to hand start everything - this was a "put it in a pray" situation since they didnt bite until wrench pressure was applied. I have asked them to provide the size of the...
  6. Trailrax Roof Rack

Be very careful with install. The coating is well done, however that coating was not clear of the tapped holes for the bolts. Even after clearing them I had two cross threads leading to one broken bolt in place and one other destroyed bolt. Great rack, but PakRax frustrating.
  7. Best aftermarket roof rack?

Couple of shots, I DMed a couple more. Note the ZRoadZ rack DOES let you remove the forward panels, even withthe iKamper ExoShell 270 awning attached (not for sale). I am in Federal Way

I am halfway though updating the speakers, but I do not have any sub plans at this time. adding sound matting as well
  10. Best aftermarket roof rack?

I have had the ZRoadZ for over a year, and am replacing it with the TrailRax TRMR this weekend. The ZRoadZ rack has good functionality, is really rather strong, and the quality of build is very good. I am changing because I need the extra width the rails of the TRMR provide, and appreciate the...
  11. EcoFlow River 2 and the EcoFlow Valentine's Day Sale

Pro 2 was not available yet when I went with the Pro - but if the older is any example, I think the River Pro 2 will be a good battery - I'd also note the movement of the 110 plugs to the front on the 2 probably makes cable management better
  12. EcoFlow River 2 and the EcoFlow Valentine's Day Sale

I am trying to go as much rechargeable electric as possible, so I am not sure what too much power would be.... drone batteries, camera batteries, backup for Phone and flashlight charging.... Last labor day weekend it ran my fridge through about 3 1/2 days with only two short trips to town (20...
  13. EcoFlow River 2 and the EcoFlow Valentine's Day Sale

I use the EcoFlow River Pro, and I do recommend. Pairs with Dometic CF3 really well. Provides power while charging, so trail time = charge time. Fast Charge while on 110/120 an added bonus, quick to be ready. Has also done a fantastic job of retaining charge in storage.
  14. Recovery gear deep dive: shackles, straps and kinetic ropes, what to buy!

I carry this kit: https://factor55.com/product/vehicle-recovery-kit-sawtooth/ A Yankum Kinetic Rope, and two additional soft shackles.
  15. Plug in coolers what do you all do overnight.

I use an Ecoflow River Pro. Plug it into either 12v or 110 in the vehicle, will charge while you are running, and power both while charging and when parked at night - set it up, and off you go - no need to change any cables over when parking or driving
