I have the exact same issue. I can move the seat forward or back and it helps somewhat, but taking the headrest out cures it almost completely. I think the headrest is rattling inside the seat. I'm going to try some teflon bushings or something and report back.

Yep, it’s a plug.

I found this part under my Bronco this morning. It looks like a frame or firewall plug, but I can’t see where it’s supposed to go. Anyone have a clue? Maybe some one can search it in the parts catalog?? Part number is M2DB-S23132-AC

I used the rugged radios mount as well. Super easy, nice and clean. It's a great solution.

This is my understanding too.

My results: I actually managed to lessen my rattles when I put it all back together. All my switches work without any issues. I did not do the programming, but probably will at some point.

I don't really "need" the lightbar, but I have the space for it and a bunch of aux switches with nothing attached, so why not...I might turn it on once in a while. I know the plate mount you mean, and yeah, it could probably work by bolting it to the spot where the DV8 logo is on the bumper...

Has anyone who installed the DV8 OE Plus bumper found a good way to mount a front license plate to it? I currently have it mounted on the bumper where the light bar goes, but I want to put in a light, and the plate would block it.
