Mishimoto's pipes are nice if you use their intercooler with the bigger inlet and outlet. I figure it's less restrictive than the other options. Not the biggest core though.
You don't want the backpressure of a chambered muffler after the turbo. Single exit makes the most sense on a single turbo. The passenger exit ones usually have a bigger muffler. Maybe the extra length moves the drone to a lower rpm? I'm not sure. Driver's side exit might be better for...
If I go WOT in 1st I usually hit the limiter before I shift. If not it grinds going into 2nd most of the time. I don't think I've hit the limiter in any other gears.
IAG is probably the best if you live where it gets cold because it's got a coolant line warming it up to cut down on condensation. I've had the UPR one fill all the way up to the media and freeze which I think was causing my brake booster to stop working in super cold weather. The ford...
Yeah, if it was going over the boost limit it would probably be well before 4900-5100 rpms. Maybe the plug gap got too big or something. I got ruthenium plugs from tune plus. They recommend to change them after 20,000-25,000 miles for best performance. I've probably had them in there a little...
I was about an hour from the gas station I always fill up at. It didn't go into limp mode until I downshifted into 1st and went WOT on a steep incline. It seemed to be able to adjust for the mixture in normal driving but that situation must have maxed out the injectors or fuel pump.
Initially it hurt gas mileage. I think the octane adjust goes to zero when you first reflash. The mileage improved by the second tank. Maybe 1 mpg or something. It's been a while I can't remember. Thats on a 2024 though
