FWIW, I first posted about my fix that you quoted back in February of 2024 (about 20 months ago). I have NOT had the squeak return since I applied WD-40 to that seatbelt mounting area back then, and I'm now at 31,000 miles (24k since the squeak), so that did work as a solution for my Bronco.

I first had a 21 Badlands that only had 1 minor issue - not enough A/C coolant filled at the factory. My 23 Bronco Raptor has had zero issues (unless you count Apple Car Play funkiness once in a while) - had it since July 23, almost 19k miles so far.

I got mine delivered late last week. With it being at or above 100 degrees in SoCal for the next week or so, and just with summer heat in general, I'm thinking I may just wait until the fall to install mine - to be safe.

Awesome trip and great write-up! Sucks about Yellowstone (same happened to me a few weeks ago), but we made it to Badlands and Rushmore instead too, and we're glad that we did!
