Mine does it too. Haven’t been able to figure out the exact condition to replicate on demand. Only happens in 1st or 2nd gear. 7mt. It has been doing it since new, 27k now.
Picked up bronco on Friday with new transmission. Installed -E transmission. Note on the write up states the fluid in the original transmission was “gritty”.
Drives good so far, miles will tell.

The splicing was to change the wire pins to fit the plug under the driver’s side panel. It wasn’t hard, just another thing to add time to the project. I did use my own posilock splicers as the included ones weren’t the best.
Tips: taking fender liners off and reinstalling was annoyingly time...
I run centramatics on my truck and would be all over them if they had a set for the bronco. It so nice to not get the shake of unbalanced wheels after getting muddy or picking up a rock in the tire.
Install is done. It was a bit of a pain, but it is a nice clean install. The instructions leave a little to be desired, had to do a lot of head scratching.
The worst part was the wire harness doesn’t have the right terminals to fit the existing plug. I toyed with it for an hour and a half before...
I ordered mine a week ago and it arrived 3 days ago 🤷‍♂️.Working on the installation today.
I had the ford 4-pin harness on order but had waited a month and it was still back ordered. Saw this 4/7 pin from lumen was out so switched my order over. Guess I got lucky.
