Depends where the wind noise is coming from. If you get a passenger to sit back there and hear the wind from the gutter section, then it could help. If you hear it from the intersection to either the front or trunk sections, then there is other adjustment needed (or extra stripping in this post)

Hmmm, that won't be impacted by the front latch position. I haven't tried, but the other latches may be able to be adjusted

Not sure where the gap is with your Bronco, but you may be able to get that resolved by moving the front brackets. That assembly has a lot of slop, but it's a super quick fix if that's the issue.

The good news is the foam/strips do eventually smash into place more permanently, so it does get much easier over time

Isopropyl is pretty safe - you shouldn't be cleaning anything metal or painted for this, just the composite panels

Yeah, that's the easy stuff. You can shove the pool noodle insulation down the sides as well. Be sure to make sure the front panels are adjusted inward, mine were full outboard and created a gap back my rearview mirror

That's my understanding. If you trace the path that the filter is in (you can see in the interior shots of the rear hatch off) it would make sense as a drain for any water that gets by the seals. I would recommend keeping it open - Water damage is worse than wind noise ;)

I would think paint under a bolt/nut would cause it to loosen over time as the paint layer deteriorates and the stud stretch reduces. Probably why it didn't come painted

I have the pin and opening. I assumed something is stuffed inside and the pin holds it in place. I haven't figured out the opening, but we have the same feature

I did on mine but it went away after a while. I assumed it was oils/greases getting up to temp for the first time. If any other comments follow up with identified issues, I'd be curious what they are.
