Started hacking away tonight, so far working pretty well. Will grind it down and clean it up then do passenger side later this week. My JKS kit arrives on Tuesday as well but I don't think I'm gonna use it.
This plastic block that's behind the liner, the clearance kit strips it out and I think the liner uses a couple mounting holes in it; but JKS includes replacement brackets so I guess it would still work? Idk, might just be over thinking this.
How are your Broflaps mounted? Are they using the body clip holes that the fender liner mounts too? I gotta figure out my RokBlokz and I was thinking about just drilling new holes into them and mounting them in some weird custom way 😅
I totally get this, it drives my OCD nuts. I bought a single tire inflator from Home Depot that works with my power tool batteries and I make adjustments in the morning before the sun really gets up when I need to. I run at 34psi cold; my numbers are usually within 1psi of eachother.
I love his YT channel, so much tire information. I haven't seen this video until now but dang I wish I knew about that BFG discount before I bought my Coopers lol. Oh well.
I beat my factory Goodyears up, I should've taken a pic of them before the tire shop took them but they were scratched up...
After weeks of tire buying anxiety I had some 37" Coopers installed today. Zone 2.25" lift kit with 1" Borne spacers. Clears everything driving around town, will be doing the max clearance kit in the near future before I go back on the trails, but so far at 70lb/tire and a Procal tune, I don't...
Installed today, Cooper Rugged Trek 37/12.50/17.
So far no rubbing during mall crawl status, they come close but I drove home without any contact. I did have to remove the front mudflaps though so I'll have to figure something else out for the RokBlokz.
Barely clearing the crash bar mounts...
Looking forward to it.
Due to a hang up on tire decision I haven't had mine mounted yet but I ended up ordering some Cooper Rugged Treks since they come in at only 70lbs, they measure in at 36.54". Mounted some Borne spacers today too, just gonna keep the factory wheels for now.
I'll cut the...
Is anyone running these with 37" tires and encountered any issues due to them? Need for extended bump stops?
I've had my links installed for a while now and ordered some 37" tires, I actually forgot about these links and hadn't considered them as a factor 😅 I'm on a Hoss 3.0 Wildtrak with 2.25"...
Sometimes tire manufacturers have an "O.E." version of a tire that is designed to meet auto manufacturer requests and they primarily sell that tire to the O.E. to meet weight, MPG, noise, or cost reduction requests; but the tire company will also have their version of that same tire which is the...
Raising this from the dead but I'm curious what tires you're running and do you think it would've been doable with a 1" spacer? I have a 1" spacer as I didn't want a bunch of poke but not sure if I need a 1.2-1.25" for 37's with that Zone Hoss 3.0 lift.
I did think about this, I've read so many mixed things about the zone UCA's rubbing or not on the Mickey Thompsons without spacers, but less likely to rub on the KO3's. Discount will be mounting the tires, I don't think they'll mount spacers in the event of excessive rubbing but I would want to...
