I'm 6-1 and I totally get what you're saying. But agree with VAtruck, I rotate the visor away from the windshield, it looks like its poking you in the face. It works fine for me.
My other bronco buddy took his visor to a shoe repair guy, and they cut it, (looks great). He had to do the other...
I had an independent company install my OEM glass today 6/13, and they said read your glass policy, it may only allow OEM comparable. Any way, my guy added an interior ceramic flim for night glare, works great, safelite would never consider that.
Looks fantastic, was it hard to do (cleaning, time). By the way from another bronco member, high performance caliber can come in many colors, not just red.
When I hit my front door handles the rear doors unlock, the handles are only a couple of feet apart, I'm not sure the buttons would be needed for the rear doors.

I live in the great hot sun state of Arizona, my softtop is down most of the year (even in 110), I use the alien sunscreen mesh, I haven't really burned, I still use sunscreen, it takes only 10 minutes in direct sun to burn.
