It’s not installed for bugs. It’s installed to save the windscreen. It diverts air higher up to reduce the risk of replacing your windscreen. Many, many, many, many posts on here regarding this subject.

Here is a very good review of the paint. Personally, having owned Toyota products before as well as numerous other manufactures (18 vehicles in total), the Bronco has the thinnest paint I’ve ever seen.

That looks cool. Did you use spacers? Finally, I found a set of Wildtrak wheels for sale. Should be problem solved. I might actually get them painted and use them as the summer wheels.
